Acheron Media Project Management (MPM) – An Executive Brief
One of the few challenges marketing project managers face in their routine is to keep track of tasks and their current status.
This could be due to the complex workflows involved in their projects and having to work with a multitude of tasks that are dependent on the completion of other tasks.
Acheron Media Project Management (MPM) provides the leverage to manage all the marketing and media related work in place with fully integrated OpenText Media Management (OTMM) system.
MPM is built on top of OpenText AppWorks and OTMM.

Acheron MPM allows organizations to create and track media related project activities at a centralized level MPM supports creation of projects and managing the projects with dynamic tasks, deliverables, resource management along with deep integration to OTMM Acheron MPM make the tasks of a Project Manager, Creative Designer and Approver easier.
This document explores the features of Acheron MPM and how it can help in minimizing problem areas such as:
- Complex workflow structure
- Overwhelming task lists
- Hard to navigate to the current work in progress tasks
- Distractions around planned future tasks
The blank project option allows one to create new projects from scratch.
Alternatively, one can also save frequently used workflows as templates.
Dependent tasks become active based on workflow and progress of related tasks.
An approval task means there would not be any deliverable defined specific to this task because it would be taking the deliverable of another task of reviewing or approving that deliverable.
